Executive/Project Officer - Section 106 and Community Infrastrcuture\nLocation: Croydon\n Contract: 3 Months (Potential Extension)\n Pay: £26.68 per hour PAYE | £35.48 per hour Umbrella\n Hours: 36 per week\n Reports to: Plan Making Team Leader (Spatial Planning)\n Responsible for: 3 staff\nSuccessful associate must attend the office up to 3 days per week.\n\nRole Purpose\n\nWe are seeking an experienced professional to lead the Council's Section 106 management, monitoring, recovery and assignment function, as well as the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) charging authority function. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective financial management and compliance within the Spatial Planning Service.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage and monitor Section 106 and CIL income, including recovery and assignment.\nAct as the lead officer for engagement with infrastructure and service providers, external law firms, Registered Providers, TfL, and the GLA.\nCollaborate with internal teams including Development Management, Planning Enforcement, Finance, Legal, IT, and Regeneration.\nOversee financial dimensions related to current and future Section 106 and CIL income.\nSupport other Spatial Planning projects as required.\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nAbility to supervise staff and manage a team effectively.\nStrong organisational skills for planning and managing meetings.\nKnowledge of legal compliance relating to Section 106 and CIL obligations.\n\nCommitment to Diversity\n\nChampion the council's diversity agenda by implementing initiatives that ensure equality of access and outcomes.
