FACILITIES MANAGER

EAST LONDON

Upto £60,000k


We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Operations Manager to lead reception and facilities operations across three sites, including Millwall FC. You will drive exceptional guest experience, oversee front-of-house teams, and ensure high standards in presentation, efficiency, and Health & Safety compliance.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES...


  • Act as the main point of contact for staff and guests across all sites
  • Lead and manage Front of House (Reception) operations
  • Recruit, train, and schedule FOH staff for optimal performance
  • Maintain high standards of cleaning, presentation, and compliance
  • Conduct regular site inspections covering safety, security, and maintenance
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and contractor activities
  • Manage utilities and maintain accurate records and compliance logs
  • Prepare facilities for all home matches and major events
  • Support matchday operations alongside senior stakeholders
  • Ensure resources (security, cleaning, facilities) are booked for events
  • Oversee staff Health & Safety training (e.g., fire safety, manual handling)
  • Support CAPEX projects and sustainability initiatives
  • Ensure asset management and full regulatory compliance
  • Deliver outstanding guest experience during events
  • Support event delivery with matchday and safety teams
  • Liaise across departments to ensure safe stadium operations
  • Ensure full Health & Safety compliance pre-event
  • Assist with safeguarding matters for staff and spectators


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS...


  • Experience in sports venues, hospitality, or large-scale event environments
  • Background working in public event settings
  • NEBOSH or IOSH Health & Safety qualification
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and demands
  • Proven ability to manage complex operations in fast-paced environments
  • Full UK Driving Licence

35 hours per week + match days (weeknights/weekdays)
