FACILITIES MANAGER
EAST LONDON
Upto £60,000k
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Operations Manager to lead reception and facilities operations across three sites, including Millwall FC. You will drive exceptional guest experience, oversee front-of-house teams, and ensure high standards in presentation, efficiency, and Health & Safety compliance.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES...
- Act as the main point of contact for staff and guests across all sites
- Lead and manage Front of House (Reception) operations
- Recruit, train, and schedule FOH staff for optimal performance
- Maintain high standards of cleaning, presentation, and compliance
- Conduct regular site inspections covering safety, security, and maintenance
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and contractor activities
- Manage utilities and maintain accurate records and compliance logs
- Prepare facilities for all home matches and major events
- Support matchday operations alongside senior stakeholders
- Ensure resources (security, cleaning, facilities) are booked for events
- Oversee staff Health & Safety training (e.g., fire safety, manual handling)
- Support CAPEX projects and sustainability initiatives
- Ensure asset management and full regulatory compliance
- Deliver outstanding guest experience during events
- Support event delivery with matchday and safety teams
- Liaise across departments to ensure safe stadium operations
- Ensure full Health & Safety compliance pre-event
- Assist with safeguarding matters for staff and spectators
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS...
- Experience in sports venues, hospitality, or large-scale event environments
- Background working in public event settings
- NEBOSH or IOSH Health & Safety qualification
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and demands
- Proven ability to manage complex operations in fast-paced environments
- Full UK Driving Licence

35 hours per week + match days (weeknights/weekdays)
