Job Description

Are you a skilled technical professional with a passion for facilities and engineering services? We’re looking for a Facilities Supervisor to lead the delivery of hard services and infrastructure support at a high-performing pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Liverpool.


About the Role


This is a hands-on, technically focused role within the Facilities Management team, with a strong emphasis on hard services. You’ll support the Facilities Lead in overseeing mechanical, electrical, and utilities systems, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational excellence across the site.


You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supervising facilities maintenance, modification, and expansion projects
  • Managing contractors and internal teams across mechanical, electrical, and building services
  • Leading safe systems of work (e.g. permit to work, hot works, access control)
  • Ensuring compliance with EHS standards including Legionella, Fire Safety, COSHH, and Emergency Lighting
  • Supporting lifecycle capital projects and small works delivery
  • Monitoring performance metrics for facilities service providers
  • Maintaining high standards in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment


What We’re Looking For

  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Desirable)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Facilities Management or technical maintenance (Essential)
  • IOSH/NEBOSH Managing Safely certification (Essential)
  • Strong commercial and budgetary awareness
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of cGMP and experience in FDA-regulated environments
