Job Description
We are working with a leading law firm based in Belfast for a partner to join their Family team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a growing firm, leading a busy and well-established family law offering. The role involves advising on a wide range of family matters including private children disputes, contact and residence issues, non-molestation and injunctive relief, matrimonial disputes, and cases involving social services.
As a Partner, you will manage complex and sensitive cases from outset to resolution, represent clients in court proceedings, and draft matrimonial and separation agreements. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing the family practice in Belfast, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to business development.
Essential Criteria:
- 6+ years’ PQE;
- Extensive family/matrimonial law experience;
- Excellent academics;
- Willingness to mentor junior members of the firm;
- Willingness to become engage in business development;
- Technically excellent;
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a team;
- Empathetic towards clients.
