Job Description

Our client is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and overhaul onsite generators. Field Service Engineers need to have previous experience with servicing and maintaining generators or gas/diesel engines. Our client is also looking to hire on attitude and needs a solid, customer-facing engineer with a “can-do” attitude who is willing to get the job done independently.

The area of work is mostly in the southern half of England.\nApplications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Carry out all customer work associated with the service, maintenance and overhauling of generators located on customer sites\n * Complete all allocated work within the most cost-efficient timescales\n * Complete all relevant paperwork clearly and concisely, ensuring all timesheets and other paperwork are submitted on time\n * Adhere to company quality standards, policies and procedures.\n * Meet customer expectations on service delivery and professional standards\n * Utilise company reporting procedures for any job outcomes, concerns, etc.\nPerson Specification\nEssential\n * Experience with servicing and maintaining generators and/or diesel engines\n * Computer literacy to include Office 365, Word, and Excel\n * Good organisational & communication skills\n * Excellent customer-facing skills\n * UK Driving Licence\nDesirable\n * Experience in electrical fault finding\nHours\n * 37.5 hours per week – Monday through Friday only with flexible working\n * No on-call or weekend callouts\n * Time off in lieu\nSalary: £40,000 per annum\nBenefits: Performance-related bonus, Training, Holidays 23 + 8 BH, Pension, Van and specialist tools provided
