Job Description

Field Service Engineer\n\nLocation: Midlands and London field work (with travel to other parts of England when required)\nSalary: £39,000 - £47,000 + Overtime (depending on experience).\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe have secured numerous projects with our Rail clients to maintain and troubleshoot systems across our key UK locations. We are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to join the team and play a critical role in ensuring reliability and safety on rolling stock equipment. Our specialist maintenance teams provide repair and maintenance of rolling stock as well as installation and maintenance of track and infrastructure, ensuring maximum availability and reliability of your services.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nInvestigate, fault-find, and rectify issues on systems at various rail sites.\nPerform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks (not installation work).\nProvide technical support and ensure compliance with safety standards.\nTravel to Midlands/London and other locations around the UK.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nEssential: Strong hands-on experience with door systems (fault finding and maintenance).\nDesirable:\n\nKnowledge of electrical systems.\nMechanical or Electrical qualifications or equivalent experience for the higher salary banding.\n\nAbility to work independently and adapt to different rail environments.\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nSalary of £39,000 - £49,000 + (More experience commands a higher salary).\nOpportunity to work on a high-profile project with a leading manufacturer.\nTravel across the UK with expenses covered.\nVan and fuel card provided.\nIf this role sounds interesting for you, please click to apply.\n\nAbout Ford & Stanley Group\n\nFord & Stanley Talent Services Group are in the business of people and performance.
