Finance Business Partner – Manufacturing

Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Salary: £50,000–£52,000 + £7,000 car allowance + benefits
Working Pattern: 5 days on-site (hybrid in discussion)
A well-established UK manufacturing company with multiple sites is seeking a Finance Business Partner / Senior Management Accountant. This hands-on role supports several sites, owning the numbers and partnering with operations to drive performance, cost efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of P&L and Balance Sheet for multiple sites
• Production of monthly management accounts with detailed analysis
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Attend monthly site review meetings and present insights to non-finance stakeholders
• Drive profit improvement and cost efficiency initiatives
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls
• Support internal and external audits
• Partner with operations to improve financial performance

Candidate Profile Essential:

• Qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or late-stage finalist
• Strong experience in full management accounts
• Proven business partnering experience
• Solid understanding of balance sheet management
• Experience with forecasting and budgeting
• Confident communicator, able to challenge and influence operational teams

Desirable:

• Manufacturing background (highly preferred)
• Experience with stock / inventory / costing
• Multi-site finance experience
• Exposure to ERP systems (JD Edwards a plus)
