It's an environment where finance has a genuine voice in strategic conversations.How you'll make an impact Raise invoices with customers and maintain control over payment terms, following up with customers to obtain payment as appropriateMaintain control over the purchase ledger and assist the Director of Finance with weekly payment runsOperate the company's expenses system and integration in to the accounting systemAssist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and project specific accountingProduce detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior managementOwn balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of issuesSupport year-end statutory accounts preparation and act as a key contact for external accountantsMaintain and improve financial controls and accounting policiesTake ownership of financial tracking of installation and service projects, including margin analysisPartner with operational teams to monitor project profitability and cost performanceSupport revenue recognition for long-term contracts and milestone billingProvide financial insight to support pricing, tendering, and commercial decisionsDrive improvements in finance processes, reporting, and system utilisation (e.g., Sage)Support finance system upgrades, integrations, and reporting automation Why you're a great fit AAT Level 4 Qualified or Qualified by ExperienceStrong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving business What you'll get in returnAs Finance Manager, you'll join a business that values people, flexibility and continuous development.Benefits include: Salary £40,000-£45,000 plus bonusHybrid working (2-3 days in the Bristol office)Pension scheme20-25 days holiday plus bank holidaysOpportunity to shape finance processes in a growing organisation Diversity, Equity & InclusionWe welcome applications from all qualified candidates who believe they meet the role requirements.
