As a controller, you will report directly to the management, and liaise closely with the Group Financial Controller and UK auditor(s), consultant and payroll team.This position involves important tasks such as preparing the various monthly reports, preparing the year-end closing and preparing the file for the audit. You will also be involved in preparing and analysing financial reports.Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submission to HMRCPrepare and post journal entries as requiredMaintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standardsProduce monthly management accounts and financial reportsEnsure all balance sheet items are reconciled on a timely basisEnsure compliance with financial policies and proceduresOversee inventory valuation and stock control processesLiaise with external accountants to assist with preparation of year end accountsSetting and monitoring energy contractsCollating National Statistics SurveysReporting imports and exports financial informationEnsure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processesAdditional Information of the Finance Manager:Monday to FridayUp to £45,000 Per Annum.35 Hours (Office Hours)Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Experience with ERP systemsExcellent communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong knowledge of accounting principlesStrong numerical and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBIAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organisational and time management skillsPrevious experience in a finance or accounts role (preferably in manufacturing)If you are interested in this role please apply today!JBRP1_UKTJ
