About the Company We are partnering with a rapidly expanding resources business preparing for a Series A raise. With strong foundations and an experienced Board of Directors, the organisation is entering an exciting scale‑up phase and now seeks its first senior finance hire to build and lead the finance function. This is a rare opportunity to join early, shape the financial infrastructure of the business, and play a pivotal role in its growth journey. The Opportunity As the Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of the finance function, transitioning accounting in‑house and establishing scalable processes, controls, and reporting. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities

Build and lead the internal finance function, initially insourcing all accounting from the outsourced provider Over time, recruit and manage 1–2 finance team members Own budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow/treasury management Prepare robust monthly management reporting packs for the Board Produce statutory accounts and lead the annual audit process Manage payments to international suppliers and ensure global compliance Develop advanced financial models to support decision‑making and future fundraising Support the Board with strategic financial insight ahead of Series A

About You We are looking for an exceptional finance professional who brings both technical strength and commercial insight.

Fully qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a fast‑growing or dynamic environment Experience working within an international organisation Strong financial modelling and Excel/analysis capabilities Hands‑on experience managing audits and statutory compliance Comfortable operating both strategically and operationally in a lean setup Confident working with senior leadership and providing board‑level information
