An ambitious, venture capital-backed hospitality business, rapidly expanding across multiple locations is currently looking for a commercially savvy Financial Controller to join their team and play a critical role in driving financial discipline and supporting business growth.As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the full finance cycle, including month-end reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. You will work closely with the Finance Director and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.You will play a key role in embedding strong financial controls, streamlining processes, and helping the business scale efficiently in a fast-moving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights to leadership.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies across all sites.Support operational teams with financial analysis, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives.Oversee payroll, VAT, and other statutory filings in partnership with external providers.Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Skills/RequirementsACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with proven experience in a Financial Controller role.Experience working within hospitality or multi-site operational businesses preferred.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, VC-backed environment.Strong technical accounting skills with in-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and compliance.Excellent Excel and financial systems proficiency; experience with NetSuite is a plus.Analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Proactive, hands‑on, and adaptable approach with strong attention to detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr
