People Group are recruiting for 1x Fire Engineers and 1x Fire Engineering Manager.

The Fire Engineer will support a leading rail consultancy who have won the majority of the engineering works in the North West & Central region on CP7 frameworks. You will be required to travel to various Network Rail sites on an ad-hoc basis and work from home the rest.

The Fire Engineering Manager will support our client, who is at the forefront of the mechanical, electrical and telecommunication market with expertise and long-standing experience across Rail, Highways, Power, and Tunnels. They have secured 7 – 10 years’ work, on major and high-profile infrastructure projects, UK wide.

Rate: Outside IR35 Location: Fire Engineer - Birmingham or Manchester & Fire Engineering Manager - London.

You’ll be responsible for: Coordination of work with other contractors and Network Rail. Liaison with route engineers (discipline). Substantial experience in the design, installation and commissioning of fire systems.
