Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant who will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and generally ensuring that customer needs are exceeded in all areas of F&B, including Restaurant, Meetings and Events, Bar and Room service.
The Food & Beverage Assistant Key Responsibilities will include:
To set up & break down meeting rooms, as per the requests on the Banqueting Event Order.
To ensure all cleaning and hygiene practices are carried out in line with standard operating procedures.
To ensure the micros system is closed down before 2am.
To ensure the bar area, still room, shelves, fridges and glasses are kept clean at all times.
To check all mis-en-place is prepared and stock in the bars and fridges is kept clean.
To undertaking closing and opening procedures correctly and efficiently.
The Experience & Qualifications for Food & Beverage Assistant :
We are seeking candidates with previous experience in 4*/5* hotels in a similar role.
You will have exceptional communication skills and demonstrable the ability to drive business and promote all of the services at the Hotelto a very high standard and deliver outstanding customer service.
Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.
The successful candidate will be:
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
Team worker
Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
