Location: Paddock Wood
Pay: £13.70 per hour
Shifts: Rotating
08:00 - 18:00
12:00 - 22:00
(May include weekend working)
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Pivot Steer Forklift Operative to join a busy e-commerce fulfilment warehouse in Paddock Wood. This is a varied, hands-on role combining forklift operation with manual warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a Pivot Steer (Flexi/Bendi) forklift truck
Picking, loading, and moving stock within the warehouse
Manual handling tasks including lifting, packing, and order preparation
Supporting general warehouse operations
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Please note: The role is split approximately 50/50 between forklift work and manual handling.
Licences & Training
Pivot Steer licence preferred
Candidates with valid Counterbalance or Reach Truck licences are welcome - conversion training to Pivot Steer will be provided
What We're Looking For
Valid forklift licence (Pivot Steer, Counterbalance, or Reach)
Willingness to undertake manual handling duties
Reliability and strong work ethic
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends when required
Previous warehouse or fulfilment experience desirable
