Frontend Engineer

The business operates across 140+ countries, integrates with 30+ trading venues to deliver deep liquidity and optimal execution, and maintains a 100% reserve model with real-time transparency of assets and liabilities.

The Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll focus on building and enhancing consumer and business applications across web and mobile. You’ll design and develop with three core principles in mind: maintainability, performance, and security.

You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where frontend engineers have real ownership and influence across the full development lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a digital wallet experience that is secure, intuitive and performant across devices
  • Build new features and optimise existing functionality for web and mobile platforms
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services efficiently
  • Participate in planning, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance
  • Write clean, scalable, high-quality code aligned with best practices
  • Contribute to performance optimisation and secure coding standards


Requirements

  • Strong experience with React and/or React Native
  • Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of web fundamentals (DOM, CORS, browser storage, request/response lifecycle)
  • Strong knowledge of mobile platforms, including native modules, app lifecycle, data storage and performance optimisation (iOS & Android)
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript/ECMAScript standards
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Understanding of development pipelines and automation tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Fluent written and spoken English


Nice to Have

  • Experience with additional programming languages
  • Test automation experience
  • Multi-language application development
  • Knowledge of digital assets/cryptocurrency ecosystems
  • Open-source contributions, technical writing, or community involvement
