GCSE tutor with SEN experience

About the Role:
As a GCSE Tutor, you will provide tailored one-to-one or small group tuition to students preparing for their GCSE exams. You will focus on building confidence, improving subject knowledge, and helping students achieve their full potential, with a particular emphasis on supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and structured GCSE lessons in subjects such as Maths, English, or Science
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with SEN
Assess student ability and create personalised learning plans
Support exam preparation, revision techniques, and coursework
Track and report on student progressRequirements:

Previous experience tutoring or teaching at GCSE level
Proven experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach to teachingPay:
£25-£30 per hour, depending on experience
