GCSE tutor with SEN experience

The Role:

Deliver personalised 1:1 GCSE tuition (English, Maths, or Science) to students with SEN

Adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs, EHCP targets, and exam specifications

Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and other additional needs

Prepare students for GCSE examinations with structured revision and exam practice

Track progress and provide regular feedback

Requirements:

Proven experience tutoring GCSE subjects

Experience working with children or young people with SEN

QTS, PGCE, degree-level qualification, or significant relevant tutoring experience

Strong subject knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and exam boards

Excellent behaviour management skills and a patient, empathetic approach

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

Right to work in the UK
