General Manager - Demolition

We are currently representing a leading Governing Body within the Demolition Sector who are expanding their internal Group. This will be a chance to be the voice within the Industry. The body represents and supports excellence within the demolition industry. The Group Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in driving operational effectiveness, strategic growth, and industry influence. Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, mentor, and develop individuals and teams. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Identify training and development opportunities. Manage staff issues professionally and effectively. Make time-sensitive and complex decisions to prevent delays and ensure member satisfaction. Ensure consistent, accurate, and credible industry messaging. Maintain alignment with demolition industry standards and facts. Evaluate and investigate potential new business opportunities or service lines. Manage complaints and issues raised by members or stakeholders. Monitor political, regulatory, and industry developments. Identify potential impacts on the demolition industry. Communicate relevant updates internally.
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience managing teams up to 20 Demolition experience is preferred Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams. Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and commercial awareness. Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
