About the Role
As General Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for this well-established, quality-led gastro pub. With a strong focus on fresh, seasonal food, an excellent drinks offering, and warm, professional service, this is a venue with a fantastic local reputation and loyal customer base.
Youll be empowered to lead from the front, inspire your team, and shape the future direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Full P&L accountability and financial performance management
Leading, developing, and motivating a high-performing team
Delivering exceptional customer service standards
Driving food and beverage sales while maintaining premium quality
Managing stock, suppliers, and cost controls
Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety, and company standards
Building strong community relationships and driving local engagement
About You
Proven experience as a General Manager or strong Deputy ready to step up, ideally within a gastro pub or premium casual dining environment
Strong financial acumen and commercial mindset
A natural leader who inspires, coaches, and develops teams
Passionate about food, drink, and delivering memorable guest experiences
Highly organised, hands-on, and standards-driven
Personal licence holder (preferred)
