The Role - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

In this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will work with pupils aged 11-16, providing 1:1 and small-group support to help them access learning and develop positive behaviours.

A core part of this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant position will involve managing challenging behaviour using consistent, structured strategies. You will support pupils in developing emotional regulation, building confidence, and re-engaging with education.

Strong relationship-building skills are essential, as you will act as a positive and consistent role model for pupils who benefit from clear boundaries and encouragement.
