The Role - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils aged 11-16 through 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping them engage with learning and develop more positive behaviours.

A key focus of this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role is managing challenging behaviour using clear, consistent strategies. You will support pupils with emotional regulation, helping them remain engaged and make progress both academically and personally.

You will also act as a strong and positive role model, building trusting relationships with pupils who require structure, patience, and encouragement to succeed.

This Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for graduates looking to progress into Educational Psychology, Mental Health, Youth Work, or SEN Teaching.
