Equifind are supporting a growing financial services group based across London and Croydon, who are looking to bring on an experienced and hands-on Group Financial Controller.

This is a key hire within the business – someone to take full ownership of the month-end process, management reporting, statutory accounts, and support the leadership team with strong financial oversight.

You’ll be managing a small team and play a pivotal role in helping the business scale. This would suit someone confident in the detail, but also able to step back and see the bigger picture. It’s a broad and varied role – ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and taking real ownership.

Key Responsibilities: Full ownership of the monthly close and management accounts Preparation of board packs and financial analysis for leadership Year-end reporting and liaison with auditors Managing a small finance team and helping support their development Overseeing cashflow, budgeting and forecasting Ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial standards Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business
