*Duties*

* Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met consistently
* Manage food production processes, including menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and portion control
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
* Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently
* Train and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and skill enhancement
* Develop new recipes and menu items to keep offerings innovative and appealing
* Maintain a focus on hospitality standards, ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent service

*Requirements*

* Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
* Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
* Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
* Experience in food production, menu development, and restaurant operations
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
* Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
* Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
