About the RoleWe are seeking an ICAEW qualified Head of Commercial & Operations to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial and commercial strategy of the business. This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys operating at both strategic and operational levels.The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Client Services Director on client performance & operations, commercial proposals & contracts, and financial operations & planning.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial OperationsProject management and commercial decision-making, including both internal and client operations.Assisting on the commercial and operational aspects of contracts, proposals, and client pitches.Reviewing, structuring, and negotiating commercial terms in customer and supplier contracts.Providing input into client pricing strategies and partner deal structures.Supporting the development and implementation of scalable business processes as the company growsFinance OperationsOverseeing day-to-day finance operations including reviewing:The monthly management accounts & cashflow forecasts.Billing, payroll, and supplier payments.Annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.Ensuring strong financial controls and accurate financial data is produced across the business.Working closely with the CEO and other board members on acquisition strategies, including the creation of integrated financial models for both internal growth plans and external stakeholders.Key RequirementsICAEW qualified (ACA), with 1-year PQE.Background in commercial finance, contracts, and operations.Strong management accounting experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow.Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.Confident communicator - able to work directly with senior leadership.Highly organised, hands-on, and comfortable in a small but growing environment.Key CompetenciesCommercially astute with a strong business mindsetStrategic thinker with attention to detailProactive and self-startingStrong stakeholder management skillsComfortable operating in ambiguity and growth environments Location: London (Full time hybrid)Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Direct Report: Trainee AccountantSalary: To be discussed #J-18808-Ljbffr
