Head of Commercial Strategy

- Build out commercial reporting and insights across all sales channels—DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and emerging retail partnerships
- Maintain detailed P&L modelling at SKU and channel level, ensuring visibility of true margin after fees, promotions, and fulfilment
- Monitor promotional activity and assess return on investment across digital and retail channels
- Analyse the performance of subscription models, identifying ways to increase customer retention and lifetime value
- Lead commercial planning processes, aligning sales forecasts with stock availability and production timelines
- Partner with the Sales Director to evaluate retail and wholesale deals, trade terms, and customer growth plans
- Work cross-functionally to ensure cash flow and purchasing decisions are guided by commercial performance
- Deliver regular reports and insights to senior stakeholders, highlighting commercial risks, opportunities, and performance trends
- Commercially minded with experience in FMCG, particularly across DTC and omnichannel sales
- Proven track record of owning forecasting, reporting, and financial models in a fast-paced environment
- Confident building and analysing performance data in Excel/Google Sheets
- Familiar with margin dynamics across DTC platforms, Amazon, and retail/wholesale channels
- Able to work closely with marketing, operations, finance—and particularly sales—to align on business priorities
- Comfortable making data-driven recommendations that drive margin, growth, and operational efficiency
- Comfortable operating as an individual contributor, managing your own workload without direct team support
- Shape the commercial direction of a brand at a pivotal point in its growth
- Work directly with the Sales Director and senior leadership on high-impact strategic decisions
