Head of Operations - Healthcare

We're looking for a dynamic Head of Operations to oversee a large, multi-service contract, driving strategic growth and operational excellence across cleaning and catering services. You'll own the P&L, lead performance improvements, and ensure services meet national standards and client expectations. What You'll Do:
Champion high standards and efficiency across all service lines. Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted partner. Lead and develop engaged, high‑performing teams. Drive strategic planning, performance management, and succession planning. Ensure compliance, safety, and value for money in all operations. Represent Mitie professionally in client meetings and forums.
What You'll Bring:
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. Strategic thinker with hands‑on operational expertise. Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision‑making abilities. Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAFM, COUPA, SuccessFactors, and data analytics tools. Level 4 Food Hygiene certification and experience in patient catering.
