Head of Product Marketing

New Today

At Vortexa, we open, connect, and optimise the energy world through pioneering technology and unmatched market information. We’re trusted by traders, analysts, and shipping professionals worldwide to bring clarity to the most complex and high-value markets on earth.

Overview

We are looking for a Head of Product Marketing to elevate our go-to-market strategy. This role is strategic and hands-on: you’ll set the vision for Product Marketing at Vortexa, drive high-stakes launches, sharpen competitive positioning, and ensure our messaging translates into measurable commercial impact.

What you’ll do

  • Define and champion Product Marketing at Vortexa: set and own the PMM charter, align with company strategy and revenue priorities; establish clear launch, ICP, and narrative priorities; bring PMM insights into executive discussions; partner with Product Strategy to connect market opportunity, feedback, and roadmap into a unified commercial view; build trusted cross-functional relationships across Product, Sales, PS, CS, and Marketing.
  • Institutionalise GTM discipline: establish launch standards, playbooks, and success criteria to make GTM execution repeatable and measurable; lead Tier-1 launches with executive accountability; ensure alignment across teams so launches are executed with clarity and impact; translate GTM strategy into clear messaging and field enablement.
  • Drive positioning and messaging: own Vortexa’s positioning framework; define narratives across energy, freight, and finance; evolve positioning with market, competitor, and customer insights; ensure cross-functional consistency with space for regional nuance.
  • Accelerate competitive advantage: build a process for capturing and sharing competitor data; aggregate market signals to identify threats and opportunities; deliver quarterly competitive reviews and updates to inform positioning and pricing strategy; collaborate with Product to inform roadmap prioritisation.
  • Enable commercial success: equip Sales, CS, Product Specialists, and BDRs with narratives and tools; lead enablement cadence with measurable impact on win rates and conversions; embed PMM outputs across the field; close feedback loops between field insights, win/loss data, and Product to improve market alignment.
  • Lead, coach, and influence: mentor senior PMMs; represent PMM with the executive team; foster a culture of shared intelligence across Product and Marketing; be an inclusive, pragmatic leader who builds alignment and momentum.

  • Demonstrated success leading Tier-1 launches with measurable adoption and revenue impact
  • Sharp commercial instinct: comfortable partnering with Sales and CROs, shaping GTM priorities, and presenting at exec level
  • Deep curiosity and credibility: able to immerse yourself in complex products and markets quickly, earning trust with technical experts and commercial leaders alike
  • Strategic and hands-on: adept at facilitating GTM war-rooms, editing frameworks, or briefing the board
  • Evidence-led communicator: uses win/loss insights, market research, and competitor analysis to guide decisions
