We are seeking a Head of Programmes who shares our values and is motivated by making a genuine difference. This role will lead the design and delivery of programmes and projects that support our strategic ambitions, always keeping the needs of patients, families and colleagues at the heart of decision‑making. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver change with clarity, accountability and appropriate governance. Inform initiatives by data, insight and learning. Implement changes in ways that support staff wellbeing and patient safety. Align initiatives to our values, regulatory responsibilities and strategic priorities. Work collaboratively across clinical and corporate teams to create conditions for improvement to be owned, understood and sustained, supporting teams to deliver high‑quality care today while preparing responsibly for the future.
Qualifications
Degree‑level education (or equivalent experience) and a project or programme management qualification. Proven experience delivering complex programmes and holding project leads to account. Strong stakeholder management skills and the credibility to work at senior levels. Experience designing and implementing processes, governance and reporting frameworks. Confidence using project/programme management tools and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills. A curious, improvement‑focused mindset with the courage to challenge the status quo. Experience in healthcare, charities or complex transformation environments is desirable but not essential.
