Our client is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Head of Safety and Compliance to lead and enhance our safety culture across all operational and training activities. This is a pivotal role within our organisation, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a robust safety management system.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Safety & Compliance Department.
Lead and manage the Audit Plans.
Conduct internal audits and audits of sub-contractor organisations.
Oversee the management of audit findings.
Prepare and analyse compliance monitoring performance data.
Provide expert advice on compliance issues across the company.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Champion a safety-first culture throughout the organisation.
Lead investigations and root cause analysis of findings.
Manage hazard identification and risk assessments.
Monitor and report on Safety Performance Indicators.
Develop and deliver relevant safety training.
Essential Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience
Strong understanding of CAA/EASA regulations and management systems.
Trained auditor with experience in internal audits.
Experience in safety investigations (trained investigator).
Proficient in use of Centrik.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Located within commuting distance of Biggin Hill (or willing to relocate).
