About Munro Vehicles
Munro Vehicles designs and manufactures fully electric commercial 4x4 vehicles from its base in East Kilbride. Our mission is to help carbon-intensive industries transition to net zero by delivering durable, practical electric utility vehicles.
Following a successful funding round, Munro is scaling towards production and commercial growth. We offer a collaborative, hands-on working environment and the opportunity to help shape a new EV manufacturer focused on real-world industrial applications.
Overview of the Role
Munro Vehicles is seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Head of Sales to lead sales activity during a key growth phase.
This role will focus on securing flagship fleet customers, particularly across mining and heavy industry sectors. You will take ownership of the full customer journey, from identifying early adopters through to vehicle delivery and repeat order growth.
The Head of Sales will work closely with senior leadership to support commercial strategy, strengthen sales processes and act as a senior customer-facing representative for the business. The role will also support the future growth and development of Munro’s sales team.
Regular travel across the UK and Europe is required to support customer engagement and vehicle demonstrations. A travel allowance will be provided to cover associated expenses.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop early adopter customers across mining and heavy industry sectors
- Generate and manage sales opportunities across the UK and Europe
- Lead the full sales lifecycle including lead generation, proposal submission, demonstrations, trials, negotiation and contract closure.
- Manage the customer journey from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery and repeat orders
- Develop strategic relationships with fleet customers to support long-term electrification transition
- Maintain pipeline visibility, CRM records and sales forecasting
- Present win plans and commercial reporting to senior leadership
- Work closely with engineering, operations and marketing teams to support customer deployments and market engagement
- Represent Munro at customer sites, demonstrations and industry events
About You
Essential
- Proven success in B2B sales involving high-value or technically complex products
- Experience managing full sales lifecycles and developing strategic customer relationships
- Strong track record of meeting targets
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
Strongly Desirable
- Experience selling into mining, heavy industry, utilities or infrastructure sectors
- Experience in vehicle, fleet or industrial equipment sales
- Experience working in a scale-up or high-growth business
- Leadership or team development experience
Personal Attributes
- Proactive, commercially focused and self-motivated
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Able to present commercial insights to senior leadership
Why Join Munro
This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in building the commercial success of a new electric vehicle manufacturer entering heavy industry markets. You will work directly with senior leadership, help secure flagship customers and influence how Munro scales its sales capability as demand grows.
Munro offers a fast-moving, collaborative environment where individuals are trusted to take ownership and deliver meaningful results. The role provides strong potential for career progression while contributing to the development of products that support the transition to zero-emission industrial fleets.
