A leading civil engineering & heavy-lifting business is seeking an experienced health & safety professional to work on a large-scale infrastructure project based on Hinkley Point C. The position will be working on site, supporting the team and engaging with the client on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have strong infrastructure experience and be happy to be based on Hinkley Point C daily. The position is permanent, and working on a rotation of 10/4

Key Responsibilities for the Health & Safety Advisor:

• Support Health & Safety activities across the project site
• Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments
• Supporting and guiding investigations into incidents, near misses, and hazards.
• Working in a client-facing position and working with the team on-site daily

Ideal Candidate Profile for the Health & Safety Advisor:

• 2 years plus experience working in a Health & Safety position
• NEBOSH qualified
• Experience working in an infrastructure environment
• Knowledge working with heavy plant & lifting operations
• Experienced in carrying out site inspections and RAMS
