Health & Safety Advisor Blackburn £42,000 Mon-Fri 8.15am-5pm (one early finish at 1pm per week) Health & Safety Advisor The Role You will be proactively driving benchmark performance for health and safety across the manufacturing and office facilities. You will be the point of contact for all things health and safety, spending the majority of your time on the shop floor. You will champion a culture of health and safety, ensuring all are trained and accountable, being able to identify risks and improve processes. Health & Safety Advisor Main Responsibilities Manage the Health and Safety inhouse System, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and driving best practices across the site. Conduct audits and inspections to maintain high safety standards and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with departments to ensure all processes, equipment, and changes meet health and safety requirements. Lead investigations into accidents with a focus on root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Share and benchmark safety best practices within the wider group.
