Health & Safety Supervisor / Manager (Contract – Outside IR35)\nLocation: Liverpool\nProject: Major Civils Package\nDuration: Long-term\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Supervisor / Manager on a long-term contract, Outside IR35, to work on a major civils package on a large infrastructure project in Liverpool.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage day-to-day Health, Safety & Environmental requirements on site\n\n * Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, client standards, and project policies\n\n * Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety tours\n\n * Review and support RAMS and method statements\n\n * Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings\n\n * Support project teams in implementing safe systems of work\n\n * Investigate incidents and near misses, producing reports and corrective actions\n\n * Liaise with subcontractors, site management, and client representatives\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience in a Health & Safety role on major civils or infrastructure projects\n\n * NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)\n\n * Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation\n\n * Civils background.\n\n * Ability to work autonomously in a site-based role\n\n * Relevant CSCS card\n\nDesirable:\n\n * NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent\n\n * GradIOSH / CMIOSH\n\n * Experience on civils projects\n\nContract Details:\n\n * Outside IR35\n\n * Long-term contract\n\n * Competitive day rate (DOE)\n\n * Liverpool-based site\n\n * Immediate or short-notice start\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a freelance Health & Safety professional looking for long-term, Outside IR35 work on a major civils project.\n\nApply now with your CV for consideration
