Health, Safety and Environments Manager Location: HD6 3TD Division : Supply Chain Contract Type: Permanent - Salaried The role will be responsible for all the HSE activity across the distribution center and head office ensuring legal compliance for all HSE processes. Reporting into the Head of Outbound Supply Chain, the role will be a key member of the Supply Chain team; responsible all legislative compliance associated with HSE, driving the HSE culture, implementing strategic plans for HSE activities to develop and improve the business. Advise management on accident prevention, environmental incidents, and HSE policy implementation. Develop safe operational risk assessments and procedures. Review and maintain HSE processes in line with recognised ISO standards such as ISO14001 Manage health surveillance, drugs and alcohol testing, and training systems. Monitor operations for compliance with the Integrated Management System. Ensure energy conservation to achieve annual reductions. Liaise with government departments and third parties as needed.
