Ready to take your driving career up a gear? YellowStone is looking for skilled, safety-focused Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team. If you're experienced, reliable, and thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, this is your chance to drive a role that truly matters.
What You'll Be Doing
As a YellowStone Driver, you'll be at the heart of our operation - collecting and delivering hazardous and non-hazardous waste across customer sites. Your day will include:
- Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers
- Supporting loaders when the vehicle is stationary
- Managing routes to hit time-critical deadlines
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects accurately
- Staying compliant with safety regulations and legal driving hours
- Delivering excellent customer service with every job
What You'll Bring
You're not just a driver - you're a professional who takes pride in doing things right. We're looking for:
- At least 12 months' experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
- A valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card, and ADR licence
- Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Confidence working in all weather conditions and in a physically demanding role
- A commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork
