Adams Morey Plymouth is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated HGV Technician to strengthen our busy workshop team.
*Hours:* Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 3.30 pm/1.30 pm to 10.00 pm, alternating shifts, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch (unpaid).
*Salary: OTE £50,000! (dependent on experience, shift and qualifications)*
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to a high standard. * Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment. * Completing all work efficiently and in line with manufacturer guidelines. * Ensuring accurate documentation and job card completion. * Supporting the workshop team to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
*Ideally, we are looking for:*
* Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic. * A relevant Level 3 qualification (IMI / NVQ or equivalent). * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * The ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A full UK driving licence (HGV licence an advantage, not essential).
