Job Description

We are proud to working alongside our client, a well-established national organisation with their search for an HGV Technician to be based at the prestigious site in Exeter

What does the role involve?

  • Carry out inspection, service, maintenance and repair of range of vehicles within the fleet
  • Diagnostic and rectification work on faults on HGV Vehicles
  • Carrying out MOT preparation work with the vehicles on site
  • Ensure that all work is carried out to set company standards and deadlines
  • Liaise with other departments if required such as Parts
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness at all times

Your Experience

  • Technical qualification such as City & Guild / Irtec accredited or equivalent
  • If the candidate possesses a HGV Driving licence that would be ideal but not necessary
  • Relevant HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle experience
