With our 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, 7am - 7pm, youll have plenty of time to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work. This exciting new role is a blended rotation of two weeks operating HGV/Class 1 trunking runs between Rugby and Peterborough and two weeks driving 7.5-ton final delivery to our customers. As a Driver, youll be delighting customers at the final stage of their journey with us - creating that all-important lasting impression. From bustling city high-rises to cosy countryside homes, no two days are the same. Whether its a recliner or a footstool, youll deliver it all with a smile (and share a laugh with your teammates along the way). What you'll be doing

Operating HGV/Class 1 trunking runs between Rugby and Peterborough

Complete all deliveries into customers homes in a safe and professional manner.

Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to ensure that they know youre on your way to their address.

Ensure furniture is delivered to the room requested by the customer and that we do not leave them with any rubbish to dispose of.

Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners in everything that you do.

Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and continually improve the standards of service we offer.

Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, informing the line manager of any defects/missing items immediately.

Comply with all driving laws as defined by the government and all company policies and procedures.

The role is for you if...

You hold a HGV / Class 1 License, Digi Tacho, CPC Card and valid UK manual driving licence (minimum 12 months, max 6 points).

Would enjoy a blended role of driving a HGV between sites (Rugby to Peterborough) whilst also driving a 7.5 ton to our customers

Youre great with people and enjoy helping customers.

Youve got strong time management skills and thrive on variety.

Youre comfortable installing and lifting heavy furniture in different home settings.

You take pride in your work and value safety

of yourself and those around you.

Youre ready to work as part of a supportive two-person team.
