Are you an experienced Highways Clerk of Works looking for a new challenge?

An opportunity has arisen for a Clerk of Works with experience in Highways to join a client in North London. Your main duties include monitoring and checking highways works across the area, implementing multiple highway projects, scheme supervision and quality control.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £300 - £325 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·The Clerk of Works inspects the workmanship, quality, and safety of construction activities on work sites to ensure that construction work is carried out to the correct specifications, adhering to legal, safety, and environmental standards.

·By monitoring compliance, The Clerk of Works will prevent deviations that could compromise safety, durability, or functionality.

·The Clerk of Works will be responsible for the management and monitoring of works carried out on site by contractors, other departments, and external organisations where specified.

·The Clerk of Works will be responsible for the implementation of small to major sized projects.
