Position: Qualified Secondary Teacher (QTS) - History Specialist Location: Stockport Start Date: April 2026 Salary: £162.30 - £223.60 per day (Paid to scale) Employment Type: Full-time, Long-term Simply Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Stockport to recruit a passionate History Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in April 2026. This position will initially run until the end of the summer term, with the potential for extension. Your Role:

Teach KS3 and KS4 History as your primary responsibility

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire a love of history

Carry out full planning, preparation, and marking duties

Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management

Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
