Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time Teacher of History to join a high-performing secondary school in Salford, starting April 2026, on a long-term/temp to perm basis, until at least the end of the summer term.

Pay: £ 168- £260 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Long-term, temp to perm.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school community in Salford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment.

As a Teacher of History, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential Contribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiativesThe ideal Teacher of History will:
