HR Advisor – Bristol & Cardiff
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a leading UK organisation within the construction and infrastructure sector. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This hybrid role is primarily based in Bristol (3 days per week), with 1 day per week in Cardiff, offering variety and exposure across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities

Provide professional and timely HR advice to managers and employees across the business
*
Support the HR Manager with employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance matters
*
Assist with recruitment, onboarding and induction processes
*
Maintain and update employee records using the HR system and Learning Management System (LMS)
*
Produce HR reports and analyse data using Microsoft Excel
*
Support learning and development initiatives
*
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
*
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
*
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
*
CIPD qualified (Level 3 minimum; Level 5 desirable)
*
Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor role
*
Previous experience working with a HR system and Learning Management System (LMS)
*
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*
Professional and confident customer service approach
*
Ability to manage confidential information with integrity
*
Self-motivated, proactive and curious with the initiative to drive improvements
*
Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation
*
A strong alignment with company values and a collaborative mindset
