HR Advisor

Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected national training company, to recruit an HR Advisor on permanent basis.

The HR Advisor plays a key role in supporting the management of various HR resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, compliance

and performance management. Working closely with the Head of HR, you will ensure that the overall HR strategy of the company is achieved.

This role requires excellent communication skills and a proactive approach, with a focus on building positive relationships across the organisation and supporting employees throughout

the HR lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic individual to join a fast-paced department and company. Reliability, commitment, and a positive attitude are key to success

in this role.

The successful candidate will undertake the following main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To take the lead on the design and implementation of the companies training programs

• To support with the management of the recruitment process, including job advertising,

candidate screening, conducting interviews and facilitation the onboarding of new

employees.

• To supporting with the creation, updating and implementation of HR policies and

procedures ensuring the company is compliant with all UK laws and regulations.

• To act as a point of contact for employee enquires, address concerns and foster a

positive workplace environment and escalate as appropriate to the Head of HR.

• To support when required any performance management issues

• To support and monitor sickness absence and advising on return-to-work processes.

•Maintain HR systems to enable effective reporting.

The ideal candidate must possess the following Skills, Experience and Qualities:

• Educated to Level 5 CIPD or Level 3 with qualification by experience in a previous HR

position with a strong understanding of HR best practices, Training & Development

needs and employment laws.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential in order to build

relationships with employees.

• Strong organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and

prioritise effectively.

• Ability to address employee issues ad conflicts with a solution-oriented approach.

The ideal candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications; however, training will

be given where required:

• Educated to a minimum of GCSE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent

• Salary to £35,000
