They are looking to appointment a strategic HR Business Partner to join the team at an exciting time for the organisation and HR team. About the Role As HR business partner you’ll work closely with senior leaders to shape people strategy, drive organisational effectiveness and enable a high‑performing, engaged workforce. You will partner with Executive level and balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery. As a trusted adviser to senior leadership, you will bring insight, challenge and clarity to people‑related decisions. Your work will directly shape organisational priorities, strengthen leadership capability and ensure teams are equipped for long‑term success. This role offers visibility, influence and a meaningful platform to drive positive change. Key areas of focus include:
Partnering with Senior Leaders to influence critical decisions through credible HR insight and coaching. Leading workforce planning to ensure the right skills, structures and capacity are in place for future success. Driving talent and succession planning, supporting senior hiring, capability development and organisational readiness. Facilitating complex change, helping teams navigate organisation‑wide transformation with clarity and confidence. Improving engagement and culture, enabling managers to build inclusive, motivated and high‑performing teams. Resolving senior-level ER issues, ensuring fair, balanced and pragmatic outcomes. Using people analytics to guide insight‑driven decisions and influence leadership thinking.
Experience required To be successful in this role you will be an experienced HR Business Partner that has worked with client groups with employees from the academic, research or scientific space - which can be within any sector. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to build credibility quickly and will have delivered new HR strategy and initiatives across workforce planning, succession planning, talent and engagement. Strong experience partnering with Executive and Senior Leadership teams Broad HR expertise across core disciplines including, talent, ER, OD and L&D Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management abilities Confidence navigating complexity and managing multiple priorities A data‑driven mindset with strong analytical capability – translate data to business aligned strategy or solutions.
