HVAC Engineer Farnborough 46k + Package

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Engineer to join our team, working on a day shift basis at a multi-building site in Farnborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems within a critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules and industry standards
  • Carry out reactive maintenance and fault finding on:
    • Split air conditioning systems
    • VRV/VRF systems
    • Chillers
    • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • Diagnose faults and ensure prompt, effective repairs
  • Identify and report defects, including providing parts lists and repair timescales
  • Ensure all plant and equipment remain in safe, serviceable condition
  • Maintain accurate records, including:
    • PPM and reactive work reports
    • Refrigerant usage logs
    • F-Gas registers
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, including safe handling of refrigerants
  • Supervise subcontractors on site when required
  • Support and assist with the training and development of onsite staff
  • Work closely with site teams and client representatives to maintain high service standards

Requirements

  • F-Gas qualification (essential)
  • Formal training in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Proven experience maintaining HVAC systems in a commercial or critical environment
  • Basic knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional out-of-hours work if required
