HVAC Engineer Farnborough 46k + Package
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Engineer to join our team, working on a day shift basis at a multi-building site in Farnborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems within a critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules and industry standards
Carry out reactive maintenance and fault finding on:
Split air conditioning systems
VRV/VRF systems
Chillers
Air Handling Units (AHUs)
Diagnose faults and ensure prompt, effective repairs
Identify and report defects, including providing parts lists and repair timescales
Ensure all plant and equipment remain in safe, serviceable condition
Maintain accurate records, including:
PPM and reactive work reports
Refrigerant usage logs
F-Gas registers
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, including safe handling of refrigerants
Supervise subcontractors on site when required
Support and assist with the training and development of onsite staff
Work closely with site teams and client representatives to maintain high service standards
Requirements
F-Gas qualification (essential)
Formal training in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical or electrical engineering
Proven experience maintaining HVAC systems in a commercial or critical environment
Basic knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional out-of-hours work if required
