Indirect Tax Senior Manager – 100% VAT Advisory Role

Location: London


A leading global technology business is seeking an Indirect Tax Senior Manager to join its EMEA Tax team, supporting a rapidly expanding cloud and digital services business. The role is fully VAT advisory, with no compliance responsibilities.


The successful candidate will advise the business across a wide range of EMEA jurisdictions on complex VAT matters, particularly relating to electronically supplied and digital services, new product launches and geographic expansion. The role offers exposure to diverse areas including telecommunications, supply chains, movements of goods, acquisitions and emerging VAT legislation.


Responsibilities include advising on new ventures, proactively communicating changes in law, partnering with the business to solve customer‑driven tax issues, and considering VAT implications across pricing, billing, user experience and communications. There is also opportunity to engage directly with tax authorities through audits, cooperative compliance arrangements and participation in public consultations on indirect tax policy.


The role suits a senior VAT professional who can work independently while collaborating within a collegiate international team, leading projects and coordinating input from internal and external stakeholders.
