Job Description
Join our client on their exciting journey and assist with forming and em'powering' new grid networks in Africa. Our client funds and co-develops new transmission lines across emerging markets, and due to growth in the African market are seeking to appoint in their London office an experienced legal counsel with 5-7 years PQE in the infrastructure space, with previous advisory exp into Africa. Completed training from a reputable legal firm is highly sought and understanding of related construction (EPC, O&M) agreements and project finance is essential. Please do not apply if you do not have work authorization for the UK, If you have been involved in the grid revolution in India or Brazil, we would also be interested in speaking to you.
The team is small, offering hands-on experience across the development and delivery lifecycle. The client plays at the forefront of many of the projects under discussion on the continent and offers many 'first of its kind' assignments, providing challenging, rewarding and impactful work. Travel is required.
