£30,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission | Full Time | Permanent Shropshire – Hybrid (Own transport required due to rural location)

We are looking for an Inside Sales Executive with hands-on agricultural or livestock experience who can confidently engage with farmers, understand their challenges, and provide tailored solutions. This is a warm-lead role — no cold calling — but it requires strong commercial awareness and the ability to convert opportunity into revenue.
The Role
This position focuses entirely on managing and converting warm inbound leads. You will be speaking to farmers and livestock professionals who have already expressed interest, so your ability to listen, ask the right questions, and guide the conversation consultatively is key.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and converting a consistent flow of warm inbound enquiries Taking a consultative approach to understand each customer’s farm operation and needs Advising on appropriate solutions based on practical agricultural knowledge Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets Building long-term relationships to maximise retention and customer value Representing the business at agricultural shows and industry events across the UK (including overnight stays during summer months) Providing feedback and insight from the farming community to support product development About You
This role requires someone who genuinely understands the sector.
You must have:
Hands-on experience within farming or the livestock sector (essential) A strong understanding of day-to-day farm operations and challenges Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role (ideally phone-based) Excellent consultative selling and listening skills The ability to build credibility quickly with farmers A target-driven mindset with commercial awareness Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own pipeline Willingness to travel to agricultural shows and events This is not a cold-calling role — but it does require confidence, resilience, and the ability to convert warm interest into committed customers.
