Integrated Planning Manager

Our client has an opportunity for an Integrated Planning Manager to join them on a 12-month contract. You will be supporting the major programmes and growth projects delivering new strategic work and bids within Space Digital UK.
Role: Integrated Planning Manager Location: Portsmouth, fully onsite Hours: 37 per week Clearance: BPSS required to start. SC to follow. UK Eyes Only due to project Hourly Rate: £50 via an Umbrella company, inside IR35
What you'll be doing:
Creation, maintenance and timely delivery of the top level and lower level schedules, and Integrated Project Team (IPT) schedules Analysing project costs versus project forward load in conjunction with resource tracking / management on behalf of the Project Manager Payment Milestone tracking Risk analysis tracking Change Control Support management consolidation, judgement, recommendations and the timely provision of all necessary management data and reporting information Provide consolidated project reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to senior management including special focus reports as required Create and maintain standardised templates for schedules and project reporting Project administration support to the Project Manager and the project teamRequirements:
Experienced in working within a Project Management, including scheduling, logic checking, Earned Value and Risk Management Minimum two years document control experience in a technical or data management environment. Experience in a sensitive data environment advantageous Previous experience of file/data management tools (Adobe, FTP, Nero…….) Previous experience of Product Data Management tools (Windchill, Teamcenter….) Knowledge of planning best practice, e.g. logic linking/dependencies, resource scheduling, preforming schedule health checks, Critical Path analysis, and work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Planning to stage boundaries - contingency planning Good knowledge/understanding of Project Management methodologies Excellent knowledge and proficient use of both MS Project Professional & Primavera P6 Professional The successful candidate will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role.
